Planning a wedding comes with plenty of moving parts, and I’m here to make the ceremony side clear and straightforward. These FAQs cover the essentials, but you’re always welcome to reach out with anything else you need.
Can we meet with you before locking you in?
Absolutely! I encourage all couples to meet with at least two celebrants before locking one in. I offer obligation-free chats (online or in-person) so you can make sure we’re the right fit. You will know within the first few minutes of your meeting if I am the right celebrant for you.
Do we need to lodge any paperwork before the wedding?

Yes, a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be lodged with me at least one month before your wedding date. I’ll guide you through the whole process and make it stress-free.
Yes! I travel throughout Queensland and beyond. As of 01/01/2026 travel fees will apply but I’ll always be clear and upfront with this when you reach out.
I love elopements and do an average of one elopement a week. You just need your witnesses (I can help organise them if needed), and we can create something intimate and meaningful just for you.
Most ceremonies run for 15–25 minutes, depending on what you choose to include. Elopements are usually shorter, while full celebrations are longer as they are more personalised
I love making ceremonies feel personal. Whether it’s a cultural tradition (I have connections with Wakka Wakka Elders), a family moment, a surprise element (announcing a pregnancy) or something totally unique, I’ll help bring it to life.

I bring warmth, professionalism, a calm presence and just the right amount of personality so you can actually enjoy the moment instead of stressing about it.
Will you keep things running smoothly on the day?
Absolutely. I coordinate with your photographer, videographer and venue to make sure everyone’s on the same page. I’ll guide your wedding party, control your ceremony music and ensure the ceremony flows seamlessly so you can relax and be fully present.
How do we lock you in?
Easy! Just say the word. I’ll send through my service agreement, once both parties have signed it, I will generate a quote for you to accept. Once the quote is accepted, you will be sent an invoice for the booking fee, which is 25% of the total cost. Your date isn't secure until the service agreement is signed and the booking fee is paid.
